Lake Shore is unlike any other country club in Central New York.  It is a private place for members to golf, yacht, swim, socialize and ultimately call their own.  It is a home away from home, a place where members are welcomed by name and a place with a rich tradition of exceeding every expectation.  For more than eight decades (established in 1928), that is what Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club has delivered to its members and guests.  We are distinctive and exclusive and yet we maintain that close - knit feeling of family.

Lake Shore's social activities are as good as it gets. Dinner dances featuring the area's most popular bands, July 4th party and fireworks, fishing derbies for kids, comedy nights, and more.

Golf leagues

Lake Shore offers four golf leagues for members’ participation: one men’s league, two women’s leagues, and a junior golf league. Throughout the golf season, Lake Shore has evening (after work) golf leagues for men and women. Couples' golf events and men's, women's, and couple's member-guest golf events.

Pool

Members make Lake Shore an Integral part of their families lives by enjoying the Olympic-sized heated pool. Also harbor side, this family favorite falls under the watchful eyes of trained personnel. Its amenities include dressing rooms, showers, and a refreshment area. For children, we offer swim lessons, swim team, and pool camps.  Pool hours during the season are Monday (11 am to 6 pm) and Tuesday - Sunday (11 am to 7 pm).

Harbor

Our yacht harbor is a perfect haven. Members enjoy secure docking in a groomed, park-like setting, and have convenient access to a great many waterways: Oneida Lake, Cayuga and Seneca Lakes, the Erie Canal, and the Intercostal Waterway. Lake Shore's unique harbor is a mere stone's throw from the Clubhouse.
